² King David rose to his feet and said: “Listen to me, my fellow Israelites, my people. I had it in my heart^(A) to build a house as a place of rest^(B) for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, for the footstool^(C) of our God, and I made plans to build it.^(D)

⁵ Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion^(A) of the tribe of Judah,^(B) the Root of David,^(C) has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

² “Son of man, take up a lament^(A) concerning Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:

² “See, I have chosen Bezalel^(A) son of Uri, the son of Hur,^(B) of the tribe of Judah,

⁶ Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab^(A) son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan,^(B) to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers^(C) to make everything I have commanded you:

³⁰ Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

³⁴ And he has given both him and Oholiab^(A) son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach^(B) others.

¹⁵ which God will bring about in his own time^(A)—God, the blessed^(B) and only Ruler,^(C) the King of kings and Lord of lords,^(D)

¹⁶ On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:^(A)
